    Natural PRP Lip Filler

    Your own blood plasma is used to make an all-organic lip filler. During your appointment, a small sample of your blood is drawn, placed into a centrifuge to separate the components, heated and cooled, resulting in a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) gel. This PRP gel filler is rich in growth factors and stem cells kickstarting the healing process and boosting collagen and elastin to work over the next 18 months. The result is a vibrant, lustrous, youthful-looking lip that just gets better over time.

    Allow 1.5 hours for this appointment. Two sessions , 4-6 weeks apart is recommended for best results.

  • An ideal lip filler candidate is one who wants to enhance or replace lost lip volume, define the shape and augment specific lip features for a fuller, more youthful-looking pout.

    An ideal PRP lip filler candidate is one who prefers an organic, natural filler and desires to subtly enhance or replace lost volume, color, and vibrancy of the lip for a more youthful-looking appearance. In addition, a good PRP filler candidate is one who wants a more natural-looking result and collagen modulation. Ideal candidates for collagen stimulator treatments are individuals seeking to improve skin texture, firmness, and elasticity. Mild to moderate signs of aging or volume loss may benefit from this procedure. Those with realistic expectations and good overall health are typically suitable candidates.

  • Results from filler injections are often noticeable immediately after the treatment. However, full effects may take a few days to 2 weeks to settle as any initial swelling or bruising subsides.

  • The longevity of filler results can vary depending on individual factors and the type of filler used. Most fillers last about one year.

    PRP is likened to a timed-release bio-stimulator that works to improve tissue over time. The volumization that results usually lasts one year after the second recommended session, but the tissue modulation and bio-stimulation is much longer.

  • While downtime is usually minimal with filler injections, patients may experience temporary side effects such as bruising, swelling, or redness. These effects typically resolve within a few days.

  • Prior to any lip filler treatment, it’s advisable to avoid blood-thinning medications and alcohol to minimize the risk of bruising. After treatment, avoiding excessive sun exposure and strenuous activities for 24-48 hours is recommended to optimize results.

    Do NOT ice PRP filler. It will denature the growth factors. Instead use mild heat on the area to increase blood flow, 10 minutes on and off for 30 minutes at a time.

  • During a traditional HA lip filler treatment, a trained provider will inject the filler into the lips areas with a fine needle. The treatment usually takes an hour, and may involve more than one session depending on the desired outcome. Most patients report minimal discomfort during the procedure. We offer a dental nerve block or, if you prefer, we have topical anesthetic as well.

    During a PRP filler treatment session, a trained provider will draw your blood and place it into a centrifuge to separate the plasma from the red blood cells, heated and cooled. This process takes 30 minutes. Once the syringes of filler are prepared, they are injected into the lips. The procedure is usually well-tolerated with minimal discomfort which can be mitigated with topical numbing cream. The procedure takes about 30-45 minutes for a total of 1.5 hrs from start to finish.
