PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is referred to as the ‘Fountain of Youth’. The procedure involves using the portion of your own blood plasma that is rich in growth factors. What is Scalp Microneedling with Exosomes?
Exosomes are regenerative medicine serums packed with tiny vesicles that carry growth factors, stem cells, and proteins that communicate with your cells to promote a healthy hair growth cycle. Do NOT ice PRP filler. It will denature the growth factors. Instead use mild heat on the area to increase blood flow, 10 minutes on and off for 30 minutes at a time.

A specialized device is used in a stamp-like fashion to create micro-channels in the scalp allowing a pathway for the exosome serum to reach the follicle. These treatments are typically performed in-office and require multiple sessions for optimal results. In most cases, patients experience minimal discomfort during the procedure, which can be mitigated with topical numbing cream or local anesthesia if desired. The procedure typically lasts between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the treatment areas.
